Things People Ask Before the Call
Is the website really free?
Yes. There is no separate build invoice. The site is included as long as you stay on the marketing retainer for the 3 month minimum.
What does $1,000 a month actually get me?
For most local service businesses, $1,000 a month covers a starter mix like SEO + Google Business Profile management + monthly content. From there you can add Google Ads management, Facebook & Instagram Ads, social media, email, or other services as you grow. We'll figure out the right starting mix together on the call so you only pay for what's going to move the needle.
Can I add or change services later?
Yes. Pricing is per service, so you can scale up (add Google Ads, expand SEO, add more content) or scale down month to month after the initial 3 month commitment. The minimum spend is $1,000 a month, but the mix is flexible.
What happens if I cancel inside the first 3 months?
The build cost is prorated and becomes due. The build is valued at $4,500, so if you cancel after month 1 the remaining 2 months of build cost would be billed.
Do I own the website after the retainer ends?
Yes. The code, design, and domain are yours from day one — the domain is registered in your name. The default setup is that we host and maintain the site for $50 a month. If you ever decide to move hosting somewhere else, you can take the site with you.
Who hosts the website?
We do. Hosting + ongoing maintenance is $50 a month, paid to Snack Club. That covers the server costs, security updates, uptime monitoring, backups, and small content edits as you need them. Domain registration is yours (~$15 a year, in your name). If you ever want to move hosting elsewhere down the road, you own the code and can take the site with you.
How long does it take to launch?
Two to three weeks from kickoff in most cases. The bottleneck is usually how fast you can review drafts and gather any logos, photos, or info we need from your end.
What if I already have a website?
Even better. We'll rebuild it, port your content over, and redirect the old URLs so you don't lose any Google rankings.
Can I update the site after it's built?
Yes. Small content edits (text changes, swapping a phone number, adding a photo, etc.) are included with the $50/mo hosting + maintenance. Just send us what you need and we'll push the change. Bigger updates like new pages, new sections, or design changes are scoped separately or rolled into your monthly marketing services.
